The Adelphi - Leeds

Entering my third decade of trips to the Adelphi and it just keeps getting better. Can't recommend this enough, they serve a great selection of beer, amazing food and they are super dog friendly which just seals the deal. My favourite pub in the city since the early 2000s.

Perhaps a bit more food oriented and pricier than upon my last visit, but still a classic and a must on the Leeds pub trail. Leeds is full of bland and uninteresting outlets that sell alcohol. They will be gone or be changed in 10 years. Hopefully, the Adelphi will stay as it is.

Beautiful old fashion pub with an incredible refined menu. Myself and my husband visited for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. The pub felt inviting and the staff were very attentive. We ordered the steak and shin pie, wow this was very flavourful with lots of filling. It was served with mash potatoes and leek. The little pot of gravy that accompanied it was quite simply a little pot of magic and set the dish alive with flavour. My husband had the belly pork dish and inhaled the whole thing in a matter of minutes as it was so good. We ordered a side dish of parmesan and rosemary fries. These were very flavourful and crisp the way chips should be. There is a refreshing cocktail menu. Personal favourite was the orange and raspberry blossom. It hit the spot on a lovely warm day. Big shout out to Jason who works in the kitchen. Excellent service Wonderful food 100% will be back

I booked a room for a surprise 50th birthday party for my boyfriend for about 30 people and The Adelphi were absolutely brilliant from start to finish! Email correspondence was prompt, helpful and friendly all the way through! I ordered a savory buffet followed by a sweet selection which was incredible! Definitely somewhere I'd consider for a bite to eat anytime! All of the staff were tremendously friendly and accommodating. With it being a dog friendly pub we were able to bring our dog too which just made it! The Adelphi were able to provide a dog bowl for some water and they have a tub of complementary dog biscuits which he thoroughly enjoyed! I cannot fault The Adelphi. They have been absolutely incredible, reasonably priced and, above all else, friendly. We will definitely be back!!
