Win Farsley - Leeds

The food and service at this restaurant were excellent. The portions were good and the shrunk duck with pancakes was a standout dish. However, the atmosphere felt lacking to me, more like a cafe, and it was a bit cold.

My friends and I visited this restaurant on a Friday night based on a recommendation from a friend in our group. The parking in front of the restaurant was difficult. The exterior of the restaurant looked welcoming, but the interior seemed a bit run-down and understaffed. We had to repeat our orders multiple times to the young waitress. The food was average, except for the satay sauce which was not up to par. Most of our group enjoyed the set menu and starters. The prices were higher than expected for similar restaurants. Overall, I do not think the visit was worth it and I would not return.

Very rude and aggressive staff, stay away! We had a birthday meal for my dad here as a family and spend over The staff were very rude and arrogant, shouting at the children and then huffing and puffing when we split the bill between...us. Not worth spending your money if you value customer service. I’d stay well clear!!

Visited for my husband's birthday, this was our first visit. The staff were very polite and helpful and the food was delicious. On our visit the lady at the next table was complaining bitterly over something that was not the restaurants fault but her own,...in our view she was just after a discount. The staff handled the situation with patients and politeness. We will certainly return and would highly recommend a visit.
