When my sister and I decided on Burger King I didnt think it would be such a long journey but we're so glad it turned out this way. We started in Independence near the 2 that recently closed, went to the one on Noland to be told their system is down in the middle of the evening for 15 minutes plus, there were two cars in front of me so this happened right as I pulled up to the speaker. So left there and bypass the one at the West end of 23rd Street because it's always a bad experience, went to the 291 and 23rd Street location to be greeted by a dark parking lot and drive-thru maze with a dark menu and no one coming to the speaker, they were definitely open and had two people inside but they seem to be completely aloof. So instead of waiting any longer we left and went straight to this one that we knew had a good reputation in the past. At the speaker I was going to do two separate orders to accommodate extra coupons and to avoid the issue I've had at others with multiple coupons and save everyone frustration of telling me no and changing things up lol. Instead the guy at the speaker suggested that I could put them all in one order if I wanted, which was awesome, I couldn't have been happier at that point. Coupons are important to me and sometimes you need more than 1 sometimes to be able to afford food and its super cool when places let you do this. Ordering process was simple and not rushed and comfortable, at the window we waited a few minutes for fresh food and we were not disappointed. The potato sticks (fries) were perfect, literally couldn't have been better. The Whoppers were so good and put together well it was like the person that made them was going to eat it themselves. I couldn't picture a better Whopper to be honest. Portioned perfectly, the meat and cheese lined up which is not common. I'm not usually that picky if a person and I don't look for the perfect sandwich, I'm fine as long as my sandwich is at least somewhat stacked up and has at least what it's supposed to on it so I can rearrange, but this was magical!! Lol . The pictures do not do it justice of course but I tried to capture some of it.
Pretty decent for a chain shopburger! I have a whopper with cheese and bacon.
Children who give you your food are lazy and careless about their work. I never asked if I wanted ketchup/sauce. When I asked, they gave me a sauce when I saw that he had a huge box of them.
Double Whoppers we good and fresh, onion rings tasted old. My daughter's spicy chicken sandwich was overcooked and hard, but my other daughter's spicy chickens are very good. All about 50/50!
Brah! They had a hard day... again. The poor boy who has orders must have just heard from Burger King before I got in. I started driving thru, which was a mile long. Before I was locked in the drive, I decided to go into thought, it would be faster, so wrong. It took two people staring at the command monitor to tell the cook what they needed to cook. The beverage machine was empty and instead of allowing other guests to fill drinks, they gave a person the opportunity to stare on the ordering machine and get a soda refill box. He tried to refill the machine, but immediately left the box on the counter to go back and stare at the order machine again. Waiting for an order in ten minutes, I saw a food donor slider full of food filling a sequence of a person before me. Not a drive thru order filled. When I went out of the same cars, were caught, in the car drive thru unmoved. If it wasn't a reality, it would be the funniest comedy to watch. Don't expect fast food, the show is better.
