Firehouse Subs Henry St - Lees Summit

This was my first experience with Firehouse Subs and I must say, it far exceeded my expectations. The food was hot and delicious and the staff was very friendly. I hope they maintain these standards. As it stands, if you're considering stopping in YOU SHOULD! You definitely won't regret it.

Out of 5, I'll give a 4. The food (Firehouse Sub, and Club) were very very good. Staff was nice overall. Restaurant itself is pretty new however, it was pretty dirty. Tables weren't clean, lots of debris on the floor, floor matt wasn't vacuumed and the place wasn't busy. There were 2 cooks and a cashier. Someone came from the back but considering they were staffed, the place should have been A LOT cleaner. And there were lots of flies... This, however, WONT stop me from going back. The food was REALLY GOOD.

Been about three times, all of which my food was barely hot. Overall, before my most recent experience, a 3* (edible but far from my first choice) but today what I received was a completely lukewarm sandwich with an obscene amount of juices or liquid from something which turned it into more of a stew than a sandwich ; the bread was soggy, and the sandwich was a complete mess. Would not recommend at all.

Sub quality has been poor the last couple times I have went. Bread seemed old and dry, sub wasnt warm enough, hoping it improves. Still better than Subway.

By far my favorite sub place! I love coming here. Food is always great. I recommend the beef and cheddar brisket add tomato.
