Red Crab Boil - Lee's Summit

It is next to impossible to get really good well cooked seafood here in the midwest at a truly reasonable price. Red Boil is at a reasonable price, but more importantly they know how to cook it properly without ruining it. Best meal I have had cooked in a restaurant in years. The service was lovely also. Wow, fabulous catfish… There's no way to replicate this kind of quality from something out of the frozen food section. Attentive wait staff make sure that you are well taken care of if you dying in or when you come in for a carry out. Hush puppies are out of this world.... This sets the benchmark for all the others to obtain in taste, crunch, with the right moisture. Also I tried the special that has a lobster tail crab legs and shrimp in garlic and butter and they were all delicious.

My husband and I tried this place last week and even though it's extremely small on the inside the food was really good. He got the fried catfish basket and I got the crab and shrimp boil mixed with all 3 flavors. The shrimp were large and delicious. I loved the seasonings on the whole eggs and potatoes and its extremely messy but what do you expect. Too expensive for the flavor not to come through. Waste of money

I went here for lunch special, it's like 25$ I got shrimp and crab, and you pick season spice level. I got the hottest (hot it was indeed) and asked for all the seasons to be mixed, I would have liked more season… My corn (1) potato(1) I had to keep Dunkin in the corner of the bag where I collected all the season juice.
