Lightfoot - Leesburg

The service, food, and atmosphere at this restaurant were excellent. It was a delightful experience.

For an appetizer, we ordered fried green tomatoes with shrimp. We received three slices of breaded and fried green tomatoes and three shrimp. The flavor was okay, but everything seemed to be spiced with hot pepper sauces. It was also quite expensive, at five dollars for one tomato slice and shrimp. I chose the southern fried chicken, a special for the day. Unfortunately, I was not impressed. The batter had the consistency of a cracker and easily fell off the chicken when bitten into. Additionally, the chicken was undercooked and lacking in flavor. I was slightly disappointed with my meal choice. Overall, the other two meals were satisfactory and enjoyed. Despite my own disappointment, I would still return to Lightfoot for other special occasions because it is a pleasant place to dine.
