Vocelli Pizza - Leesburg

I placed an order online through their website and about 15 minutes later, I received a text saying my order was cancelled. I called the store to inquire about it, and the person I spoke to told me to disregard the message because my order was being prepared. A few minutes later, they called back to offer us a free cookie as compensation for the mix-up, which was a nice gesture. However, after another 20 minutes had passed with no update, I called again to check on the status of my order, which by then had been over an hour. This time, the staff informed me that my order had indeed been cancelled, contradicting what I had previously been told. This entire experience was extremely frustrating. Eventually, they did deliver our food, but there was no compensation for the inconvenience we faced. To top it all off, the pizza was undercooked. I won't be using their services again.

The tomato sauce was expertly seasoned, and the garlic sticks on the side were fantastic. The chicken veggie pizza was delicious as well. The quality of the pizza was exceptional, featuring fresh-cut tomatoes, green peppers, mushrooms, and halal toppings like tasty chicken. The tomato sauce truly stole the show with its amazing blend of flavors. Given the current COVID situation, the staff wore face masks and gloves while maintaining a safe distance to ensure the safety of both themselves and customers. The staff was friendly, and I really appreciated the excellent customer service.

Place your order at your own risk. As a delivery driver, I witness a lot during my shifts, and I feel uneasy every time I pick up an order from this restaurant. I've yet to see any staff wearing masks or gloves, which is concerning. Whenever I arrive, the food is rarely ready, indicating that they’re not following proper safety protocols during food preparation. Also, if you're going to post a promotional review to boost your reputation, don’t mention your COVID safety practices if your employees aren’t actually adhering to them. That's misleading advertising.

I have ordered several times on doordash at the Frederick and Leesburg locations. Pizza has been great every time! Good dough, great balance of sauce and cheese and fresh toppings. It?s delicious and have had no problems with the service. Not sure what some of these reviewers are on, but this is the best Pizza I?ve had in the leesburg area.... even better than the beloved Rai?s.

We ordered delivery from this restaurant during our stay at a hotel. The person on the phone was very kind, and the delivery was quick and on time. The food arrived hot, and they delivered it right to our hotel room door. The portions were generous, and I really appreciated the addition of a little paprika. The wings were crispy and perfectly saucy. This place came highly recommended by the hotel staff, and I can see why!
