The Hitching Post - Leesport

Yesterday we tried a place that was on my list for a long time. Ruth's Chris Steak House was nothing but average, high-quality prices for the same quality food as any other chain restaurant. I had a fat of 16 ounces ribeye, with what taste like Reg Mac and cheese with pepperjack cheese they called southwest? No other taste or spice. Salad was ceasar with the blunt end of the romaine stem, no anxious soil in cesar dressing. Waste your time or, above all, your money. The punch has ten times the quality and ambience that Ruth'Chris has made. The food at The Hitching Post is authentic, fresh, tastefully seasoned and cheap, the owners are beautiful and come to welcome you, the waiting staff is friendly, Corey makes a good work at the bar. The music and the ambience are great. I look forward to going there every time, whether for wednesday night special, steak or pork apron or sunday brunch. What a great experience and Nancy our waitress was wonderful! Food was great, service was good. Caesar Dressing is made in house I believe and it is probably the best dressing ever! Filet Mignon was perfect cooking, and lobster dick had great taste. Oh, and the bacon wrapped scallops are a must.

Omg! I just picked up my order to go, I ordered all the starters: Gorgonzola cheese balls, lobster Mac and cheese and the lamp chops. The lobster Mac and the cheese had a ton of lobster in it. The food was fabulous! Loved and will definitely go back. Excellent food!

The hitching post by far is one of the best places to eat in Berks County. During the spring and summer evenings we really enjoyed the outdoor door terrace. The ambience for the interior is spectacular, the staff is amazing and the food is simply excellent. Your menu has something for everyone! Although my husband tempts the same dinner every time, and a cry to her Gorgonzola balls, every food she never left us disappointed.

The Hitching Post was a lovely place to eat it was very clean nice Ambience cozy the presentation of the meals was beautiful the size amazing and The Taste absolutely delicious my daughter and I both had a really great meal the calamari dish is out of this world
