The quality is fine. But my issue was with the hygiene and OSHA standards of the worker who made my order. She didn’t use gloves when scooping my ice cream and kept running her hands through her hair while making my order, before, and after. Turned me off to one of the only good places in town.

*Celiac/Gluten sensitive friends* We went to Marble Slab tonight for some ice cream. Now usually I get my ice cream and gf toppings and just call it good, even though it does end up making me sick because of cross contamination that’s happening all day with all the toppings. But I just don’t worry about it because I feel like an inconvenience having to ask for accommodations. ?? but tonight I really just wanted to ask and see….so I asked if they “could maybe just wipe down the slab for me before putting my ice cream on it.” and explained a little why. The guy working at the Leesville store, JaMarcus, asked if I wanted him to make it in the back on a clean countertop and with all clean utensils. He even got new scoops to use for my toppings and everything. ? annnddd it made my night! Thanks for going above and beyond with your customer service tonight, i truly appreciated it. Don’t be afraid to ask! ??

Last 3-4 times I bought ice cream the waffle bowls were very stale. You could literally bend them. I asked them the last time I went in if the waffle bowls were fresh and told them if my few bad experiences with that and I was told that they were stale but they were selling them to customers anyway. Even the cones were stale. I’ll never go back. Who wants stale cones with their ice cream??? The staff there the last time could care less if this was going on or not!!!!
