Barbers Crossing Road House - Leicester

I went to barbers crossing to dinner and had haddock. it was great that my other party had the best rib bbq ribs it was great. try the place.

Best seafood we’ve had in a long time whole fried clams melt in your mouth. Haddock Oscar delis fullOf lobster on top of huge pieces of haddock topped with asparagus husband had Fishermans plater again do tender and delis frozen White Russian never had one anywhere else frozen delis and dessert pictures speak louder than words. Went back next night everything was so good …..

The food was great but the service could have been better. They were not that busy and our server never came back to ask if everything was okay.When the meal was brought to us our server asked if we needed anything else and I told her what I wanted.Needless to say that was never brought to me.

Sitting here waiting for the waitress to maybe at least show up to take the money. Seen her less than 25 seconds since I've been here. The busboy got my drink when after ordering I never got, wow she just showed up with the check. The kid at the door got me a refill and more napkins . Never asked about my food which btw was a quesadilla swimming in mushroom (which I requested) juice, gross .......hadn't eaten all day so I dried it off called it a day and ate it. I guess it's a bad idea to come here by yourself you get ignored unless you are at the bar. I gave her $1 for her horrible service. She needed a personality . Its a busy place so I guess they don't need my business.

It's like food from the 80s before access to good recipes and cooking techniques. Was nostalgic but a one and done for us. Maybe they can add a little water to their tomato sauce instead of serving it like paste though.
