Where do I begin, this is my fault. I thought that hotdog Annie was going to be what hotdog and he used to be. When I went up to the counter, I ordered the barbecue hotdog, so when I got side outside to eat it, I realized that the hotdog Has now become the size of a breakfast sausage with maybe an inch? I couldn’t believe the bun to hotdog ratio. There was literally a half an inch of hotdog and a whole hotdog bun that had an inch of bread left on each end if you can picture breakfast sausage at the supermarket add about 1 inch and that is how big these new hotdogs are. There is a sign that says they are Kayem hotdog, I spent about three dollars per hotdog, when I could be at home and spend. $1.50 for a pack of eight hotdogs and buns would be about 250 and I just paid three dollars for a pin hotdog with a tiny bit of barbecue sauce on it and I mean a tiny bit of barbecue sauce. I will never go back there again, I remember that place as a childhood memory, but that memory is gone. It’s been taken over by a greedy owner, and I understand that the times have changed and they need to pinch some pennies but gosh darn it you ruined hotdog Annies I’m sorry you ruined it , and I know a lot of people will agree, but they might not word their frustration.
Stopped by during a trip back to MA. New owners. Still mostly the same, but their menu has gotten smaller (no more burgers) and the application of condiments has gotten stingier. My advice for the new owners: when a business has lasted this long, you don't want to mess with what works. Quickest way to the end.
Hot dogs.....they are good....been going here since I was a little girl.
Always a favorite place to visit Spring ,Summer and Fall !
