Friends and family of management get priority and no idea of keeping customers welfare and health safety during covid times a priority except keep filling tables and keep the tills ringing what a greedy owner on that basis no matter how good the food is...we will not be going there again and greed is always judged with your karma

After hearing that Sach Shah had sold the pub and restaurant to a Punjabi owner due to Covid, my friends and I decided to give Indian Chef a try. The new atmosphere was refreshing, the service was excellent, and the portions were generous. The new owner, who has previous experience in the industry, has truly turned things around compared to Sach Shah, who was known for small portions and poor quality drinks at high prices. We ordered the Indian lamb curry, chicken curry, and surf and turf, all of which were delicious and comparable to top Indian restaurants. The new owner mentioned plans to update the beer selection to include Coors Lite, and has already implemented reasonable prices for the large portions offered. While some old staff from Sach Shah remain, new staff are being brought in. Sach Shah has reportedly opened a food shop on Loughborough Rd, though it's unclear why given his lack of cooking skills. The new owner and establishment are both fantastic, with great food, but there is still room for improvement on the pub side.

Time, heard a lot about this place from the family and it certainly delivered. the food was very delicious and generous. staff very polite and helpful. great family atmosphere. be sure to be regular

Went to this place last night after the place where we wanted to go was closed. good things. was very disappointed by the quality of eating and I have the pists today because of him, then the cherry was overloaded for my drinks. the waiter wouldn't even touch the fittings in toilets, so added how unclean it was. the tables were sticky and unsleeping. will never go back there. do not eat good or drink. I will never come back

We visited the place after being sold to a new owner. the beer and refreshment drinks all lubricated, as they were strongly watered.
