Flood Street Carousel - Leichhardt

With incredibly attentive service, this café was a delight to visit. The prices were very fair, although I did opt to add on a $4 portion of avocado. The hummus was a bit dry and difficult to scoop, but the beans were absolutely delicious. I found the meal to be satisfying and filling, even though it may not have looked like it at first. The monkey smoothie, made with bananas, coconut milk, and honey, was also quite tasty and served in a generous portion. Although the food took longer to come out than I had anticipated, the taste and service more than made up for it.

The haloumi toast with beetroot relish is an interesting combo, the sweetness really balanced out the salt in the haloumi. Coffee is alright, but they have many other beverage options too.

The tables have a checkerboard design that could easily be used for playing chess!
