Champions - Leipzig

Came hear to watch some Bundesliga on a Sunday afternoon. There was a choice of Sports with NFL also being shown. The Bar is located on the Ground floor of the Marriott hotel, a short walk from Leipzig HBF on one side and the Marktplatz on the other. There were a few different beers on tap I had both the Hacker-Pschorr and local Ur-Krostitzer. Service was good and prices average for the location. I didn't try the food but it tended to be lots of American type fast food Burgers, Chicken wings etc. Would certainly recommend for a beer and a game if in the area.

I know, one doesn't expect healthy food in a pub, but all the food in this pub is processed, pre-packaged junk. HOWEVER, when I advised on of the staff that I couldn't find anything to eat, and I asked her whether it would be possible for me simply to order a penne arrabiata (simple pasta with a spicy tomato sauce, not on the menu), she avoided her kitchen and went straight to the main restaurant, where my choice was freshly prepared. I wish I could remember the employee's name. Absolutely outstanding service.

We had a private birthday party in the Champions bar and enjoyed every minute of it! What a nice sports bar this is, really lovely decorated with lots of posters, jerseys, sports equipments and all kept in wooden furniture. With its direct connection to the Marriott hotel the entrance is easy from both sides. Very modern, very welcoming, I can believe that this place is great for public viewing of sports events or to just simply go out for a beer with your buds. What is even better the staff: Manja, Jens and the rest of the team are always up for a friendly joke, a nice smile, very welcoming the guests and always there when you need them. Well trained, very organized and friendly. Can't much more but definitely recommend this place! We are coming back for sure :

The best place in Leipzig to watch football. Check before if Munich or Dortmund are playing as that will be what you are watching. Champions league is a laugh, specially if the german teams are loosing.

Pretty good. Operation beautiful, burgers are completely ok, but now do not move worldwide (of which 1/2 stars trigger). There are actually 4 1/2 stars, but unfortunately not on Google. The burger is missing something for perfect.
