We ate there at lunchtime. eating was delicious, the service friendly and helpful, there was a quiet, pleasant atmosphere. again! “ sour eggs”, the court of my childhood, reinterpreted and super tasty!

Max enk has been one of our favorite restaurants for years. the unique ambiente, a well-stocked wine cellar, feed with ingredients from the region and a good service are the “ ingredients” that inspire us.

Rarely seen such a bright ambience! Super friendly staff. Kitchen Saulecker and really up in every way. Grandiose and very manageable and well selected wine map. At any time Oh so, the whisky sour also world class

... that Essen is great, is one thing that the selection of wine is so brilliantly matched to the menu, is not often the case ... for both and a genuinely recommended value
