Small little spot near UC Davis med center. You'll def see employees and construction workers during their breaks or for lunch grabbing food here. They got outdoor seating, about 4-5 tables/ barrels to eat at. Got their tri-tip sandwich with potato wedges combo. Also got their secret sauce too.Sandwich was a good size and was delicious.Secret sauce reminded me of in-n-outs special spread.Haven't had their breakfast but heard its good. Will def have to come back to try.
Food was very good. Fair pricing. Friendly staff. Only complaint was that I wanted to eat there on the weekend and they weren't open.
I ordered the, crush it drink (crush and ice cream) and the habanero coleslaw.I am impressed. Both went beyond expectations. Friendly service, shade over diningParking on 3rd avenue is allowed.
I've always had a fondness for this location and I've been wanting to check out this pace for awhile. Came here with a random child that I found in my house and we went out to lunch. We got the chicken nugz with ranch and special sauce, a side of fries, and the smoked pork loin sandwich. This random kid that I found living illegally on my house loved the nugz, saying they were crispy and moist. I told him that the work moist is triggering to some people, but he didn't care. We both agreed that the ranch was the tastier sauce, but the special sauce was not without its charms. The pork loin had a great Smokey flavor to let you know there was some care taken making this product. The sandwich may have been a little too bready, but it was a good sandwich nonetheless. I like this place and the staff were nice. I would repeat.
