Feedback gevenThe restaurant and the toilets are clean. None of the staff spoke English, so we have the experience of using Google Translate to convey what we wanted. Like most South-of-the-Border Steak, this was thin and hard (as mentioned in other reviews), and overly seasoned so that you can't taste the meat. But I enjoyed their seafood, and everything tasted fresh. The dough they use is like tempura, light and not oily. The service was friendly in any language, but I don't know if these people know they should take the empty plates away from dessert. Overall a fun experience, and I am glad that we have this kitchen option in the KC Metro. Next time we will avoid their steak, but there will definitely be a next time. I suggest checking them, especially if you want to brush on your Spanish.
Had Peruvian food for the first time and there was something new that my wife and I tried. Service was friendly and food was okay. The pasta had a strong herbal or spice flavor that we were not used to. The meat was good. We love trying different foods and have a good recommendation for some of the foods we have.
Food is mediocre. Not good, not the worst. Just me. I complained about food being undercooked, a Huancaina is sour and then a dessert that was terrible and nothing happened. You just said okay and the cook? She attracted my eyes. But I was completely withdrawn from this sign. Since when can a company have a minimal tip? Strange. Don't come back. Pay your employees a living wage so they don't have to.
This place was not good at all! I don't know if they were on the day of the servants, but the place looked like it was still in pandemic mode supplied with all their restaurants in the corners. Floors and tables were dirty. The staff was overwhelmed and rude and the food was tasteless. My husband and I know something or two about Peruvian food and this has disappointed us a great time! We were so hungry that we decided to stay, but we will definitely not return to this place. The worst is the price! They should not charge so much for the quality of the food they serve.
Update: Visited for lunch. Have been coming here for several years, less during Covid pandemic. Added a star. Excellent lunch. Ceviche mixto still awesome! Did try a couple new appetizers, the Chorrita a la chalaca (muscles with the big corn and salsa with ceviche lime juice) and the Papa Rellano. Both good, but the muscles were best. Will keep coming, still alot of dishes I have not tried. 3 yrs ago: Have been here a few times for lunch, and again yesterday. Had Ceviche Mixto (again) and empanada. Their ceviche is an excellent dish! Empanada great too. They have a very unique and diverse menu, great ambiance, and I love the food! Prices slightly above average for lunch and better for dinner. I highly recomnend Antojitos and I look forward to visiting for dinner.
