It resembled an old-fashioned general store, but with empty shelves. The restaurant area only had 6 or 8 tables and an open kitchen. However, it seemed like the food was pre-cooked and frozen, then heated up rather than being freshly prepared. Not only that, but the food did not taste good. The server was friendly, but that did not make up for the disappointing meal.
We booked a table for a Wednesday evening in February, but it turned out that reservations were not necessary. The staff mentioned that it is advisable to make reservations on weekends, especially during the summer. We really enjoyed the pizza!
My husband and I had a pleasant dinner at this cozy restaurant. Although it's located off the beaten path, the staff at Buffalo Mercantile were very friendly. We tried the Margherita pizza, which was delicious but a bit too watery due to the canned tomatoes (they could maybe drain them better). We plan on returning with our children one day to grab some takeout and enjoy a meal at the nearby park.
Dined at this restaurant because we saw it on facebook. The pizza was delicious.
The Pizza was great the live music was unexpected the location was easy to find
