I ordered the dinner special with beef, but the meat was too tough for my taste, so I had to remove it. Despite that, everything else on my plate was fantastic. I was a little surprised by the extra charges for small items like wonton wraps, green onions, soy sauce, and hot oil, especially considering I also ordered a soup.
The food at this restaurant is consistently delicious and the atmosphere is fantastic. The prices are fair and the lunch specials include an appetizer and soup.
You forgot to add the sauce to my sweet and sour chicken, so I just got simple chicken and vegetables? I was here once and loved it and wanted to try again, but after receiving this order I was disappointed to say the least:
I ordered her shrimp and aubergine with garlic sauce for delivery and specifically demanded that the sugar was removed and told her that I had diabetes so that it was very important. Without checking with the kitchen, the lady said about the phone, it could be done. I get my food, pay the 4 dollar delivery fee and 4 dollars in the top just to realize that my food is very sweet. I'll call back and she doesn't have an excuse to just explain that she called me and I didn't answer. She told me to come back to the restaurant for a refund. I'm going to the restaurant, and she's telling me to wait and is on the phone for 5 minutes I guess is the boss. She again does not offer an apology and asks me to wait an hour for a refund on my card, or I can simply be refunded by cash. In addition, it negates 4 dollars from my refund for shipping costs. Will never order from here again, the worst customer service I have received.
I used to frequent this restaurant a lot, but it recently underwent a change in ownership and name, so I had not yet tried it. I decided to go through the drive-thru and was pleasantly surprised by the friendly and efficient service, despite there being three cars ahead of me. I ordered the shrimp lo mein dinner for $10.25, which came with shrimp lo mein, fried rice, an egg roll, and wonton soup, even though there were other soup options available. The shrimp lo mein was delicious, although I felt that the shrimp could have used a bit more seasoning, which I easily fixed with some salt and pepper. The fried rice wasn't my favorite, as I prefer noodles, but it was still good. The egg roll was tasty and the wonton soup was incredible - I wish I had ordered two bowls! I also got the crab Rangoon, which came with three pieces. Overall, I spent $15 for a satisfying Sunday dinner. If you're in the mood for affordable and delicious Chinese food, I recommend giving this place a try. The lo mein was definitely the highlight for me, and I look forward to returning for more.
