Altitude Lodge - Les Gets

Very pretty hotel with romantic rooms with small balcony cocooning very pretty bathroom lacks some things to put the toilet kit.Very good breakfast and full, speak not too well French damage.

It may only have been a hot chocolate - but what a hot chocolate. It was not any hot chocolate - it was an Altitude Lodge hot chocolate, an Altitude Lodge hot chocolate with Baileys - silky smooth, warming, refreshing (twas after skiing to get there!) - lovely! The location is brilliant and the service fantastic! Thank you!

Had a fantastic lunch there on Sunday, with a large group. Service was fine and the food great. Views amazing and it's easy to slip into a very relaxed attitude to skiing. Very cool music and - bonus - the loos are not down a flight of wet stairs!Went back the next day - were ignored, then had appalling service from surly English waiting staff who really need some training in basic skills. Bread and water for the table had to be nagged for and though the food was good, of three portions of slamon, one was half the size of the other two. We had a bizarre experience when asking if it was possible to have soya milk in a special hot chocolate for a friend who is lactose intolerant. Initially told yes of course, then a few minutes later, the waiter reappeared to say that only guests of the hotel could have access to soya milk in the hot chocolates! I have never heard anything like it. Will probably go back because it is such a gorgeous spot, but they need to get some French staff in there to show them how it is done.

Following a recent trip up the mountain in Les Gets, we stopped here for a drink...the service is great. We seated ourselves and were soon served. The waitresses are all English so no French needed here :-) The hot chocolates were delicious and in the words of our daughter "posh"! The whole experience was great - thank you! Definitely recommended.

The bar staff here were super friendly and they seemed to be English. This was super helpful when we left our parents there while we skied. They were able to sit in the sun and watch their grandchildren ski down the mountain. The hot chocolate there is delicious and presented beautifully. We didn't eat there, but the food looked lovely. I'd highly recommend going here if you get the chance.
