Makisu Sushi - Lethbridge

Without a doubt the best Japanese restaurant in the city! I'm often here and let myself be impressed every time. The food quality is immaculate, the service is fantastic, and the value is excellent. Very recommended if you are a fan of Japanese cuisine, especially if you like buffet style meals!

My daughter recommended us to eat here and we really enjoyed the food. I would say the meal was in place with the best sushi places we tried in Calgary. That was a very pleasant surprise and I will go back the next time I am in Lethbridge. The Angry Dragon Role was our collective favorite.

Your reviews are scary and I love reading them. It's been a while, but I ate myself in a real food coma here with my brother and wife a wild one. Between us three we threw a whole bottle of soy sauce and must have eaten a dozen pounds of sushi or more, everything was really good, almost asleep on the bike on the ride home. It was my first time here and I really liked it. I ordered from the menu. It is a limited menu, but enough choice for lunch. The clay soup won was really good and I was pleasantly surprised how good the salmon bell was. The Tempura was OK and the 8 pieces of Sushi were also good. I was curious about her seafood siu mai, but they had none. The staff came around to clear the empty plates, but never once asked how the food was or anything else.

We love going here for the dinner buffet. It is a bit pricey but hey it’s sushi and it’s Delicious!!! They don’t have your typical menu to order from it’s basically a sheet you fill out with what you want.. and the best part is everything is brought to your table as soon as it’s made. So you get to enjoy Hot crispy tempura with the all you can eat benefits.
