Feedback gevenMasseria Margherita is a B&B and restaurant (located a few kilometers outside the town of Letino) owned and operated by Giuseppe Pidocco and Vittoria Fortini.She cooks, he waits at the tables. We ended up here for lunch on a rainy day and were the only guests there. We were served three types of bruschetta to get us going: tomato, cold cuts, and a cheese spread. We then ordered a number of available local specialties: pettole e fagioli (pasta and beans), chicken and potatoes, and the sheep-meat dish. The bread they serve is awesome. We accompanied the meal with the house white wine and finished off with a nice coffee. We stayed inside the whole meal because the heavy rain continued to pour throughout. No matter we enjoyed our meal as well as the warm and interesting conversation with the owners. From the looks of it,this place is certainly quite enchanting on a sunny day with the pergola-covered terrace and the garden.We'll have to come back for that.
Siamo giunti casualmente a questo ristorante, insieme al nostro Alaskan Malamute, e siamo stati accolti tutti e tre in modo informale e gentile. Abbiamo mangiato all'aperto sotto un pergolato molto pittoresco. Abbiamo ordinato come antipasto la margherita, gnocchi fatti in casa al ragù di cinghiale e un misto di carne con patate al forno. Tutto era buono e gustoso. Non abbiamo avuto nulla da eccepire, ci piace la semplicità e la cortesia, perciò siamo rimasti soddisfatti. I prezzi erano onesti. Grazie per l'esperienza tranquilla e positiva che ci avete offerto.
