A fun and family friendly bed and breakfast steps away from the Delaware Beaches. Was greeted at the door by the official greeter, Remy, who has his very own Instagram account! (Remy_bluewaterhouse)Artwork covers the walls and the longer you look the more you see! The rooms are decorated and painted in a Florida Keys theme which made me feel right at home.Rick and Tony are the perfect hosts providing snacks and water in the dining room along with a delicious hot breakfast made daily.I highly recommend staying here if you want fun to be a part of your stay!Rooms: Brightly painted and decorated. You’ll wake up happyNearby activities: Lots to do nearby. Explore downtown historic Lewes, grab a bite to eat, shop or hit the beach. No car needed but if you’d like to ride (a bike) the guest house has some for loan.

Found this gem because of Remy_BlueWaterHouse on Instagram! Cutest dog and ambassador for the bed breakfast. Charming place with beach-y themed rooms and everything you could ask for and then some. Rick was amazing making me feel right at home and Tony prepares a bountiful hot breakfast everyday. Steps to Lewes beaches and Historic downtown. I know where I’ll be coming back to!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The rooms and the entire B&B were charming and the entire place was immaculate. All beach necessities were provided (although we didn't need them because of the rain). Very personal attention nice snacks and breakfast. Perfect location. We loved our outdoor swing. We will definitely come back

It's been over five years since our last visit to the Blue Water House, but Rick's warm hospitality and the unique charm of the BWH are just as delightful as we remembered. The bed was incredibly comfortable; both my wife and I realized we haven't slept that well in a long time. The town of Lewes also has its own relaxed vibe, which is one of the reasons we fell in love with it when we first started visiting about ten years ago. We can't recommend the BWH highly enough—not only for its affordability but also for the welcoming atmosphere, quirky and soothing ambiance, and of course, the breakfast. In a world that is often unpredictable, one thing stays constant: Blue Water House is the absolute best!
