Feedback gevenThe service was slow. When food did arrive the order wrong. Halloumi fries (3 for £6! were cold and burger looked like it was leather with a teaspoon of coleslaw on the side. The sausage breakfast muffin was not nice. Portions are smaller and more expensive than our last visit. Won’t be rushing back.
Love coming here to brunch every time we’re in Lewis for our friends and family catch ups the place has really changed its dynamic since we last visited about eight months ago…it was good before but now it’s superb would highly recommend a visit : see you again at Christmas time.
I understand Sundays are busy. When we got here, they were only had a few tables left. We waited to be seated. Some scruffy guy came and pointed to a table. Walked off. Didn’t say anything. Couldn’t work out who worked here. Had to find the kids menu and get the crayons myself. The online order wasn’t explained. And didn’t work well. Finally got some drinks. Dirty tea cup, asked for a clean one waited 20 minutes (our food came was delicious but small) ate my food. Still no clean cup. Cold tea. Went and asked what’s going on. Was give a cup and said a new tea would be brought over. Never happened. I do not Understand how self-service restaurant you can ask for tip. I can see about 6/8 people I believe who work here. Awful service, wouldn’t be going back. And will email head office as clearly they need to retrained.
We arrived, having booked our table, sat browsing the menu awaiting the arrival of our last guest. After we had been there 5 minutes the power was lost. We approached a member of staff at the bar and asked if we were able to grab the drinks we had ordered and were told that was not possible due to no tills. I accepted this and asked if we could have a jug of water for the table until we knew if the power would be back on and was met with a response that the customer needs were not a priority at present as they all had to work on getting the power back on. Sorry but the number of staff there was plenty to deal with the situation and cater to simple requests from a customer. We swiftly left the establishment and went elsewhere. I understand the powercut was not their fault but the handling of the situation was appalling.
