Shahjahan - Lewes

It looked quiet from the street. we have slept in and we were met with a very friendly reception and fabulous opulent decor. the grub was also great (my friend translated this in fresh and alive) highly recommended

A really interesting menu with plenty of delicious choices to suit all palates. Shahjahan, with its friendly service, is our preferred curry house in Seaford; have been going for years. It is great for vegetarians too (what a relief not to have to choose the one token veggie dish on a menu). Love the pineapple bhaji, love the balti, love the jalfrezi, ... I could go on!

Decor is amazing, staff are friendly the food is lovely. I ordered a peanut chicken dish (I cant remember the name and it was delicious, looking forward to going back :

We visited tonight and can't recommend this restaurant enough. Our son is a picky eater, but they went above and beyond to accommodate him, even offering him a tasty sauce for his ice cream and a balloon. We thoroughly enjoyed our meals, which were full of flavor and absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was relaxed, and our waiter was fantastic. We will definitely return—thank you for such a wonderful meal!

We celebrated my birthday at Shahjahan and had a wonderful experience. Russell, one of the owners, coordinated with the chef to prepare a dish just the way I liked it, and it was fantastic. They even surprised me with a lovely birthday cake. I left feeling grateful for the delightful meal.
