Shanaz - Lewes

I am sorry for writing a negative review, which I have since deleted after realizing the issue was with Deliveroo. I have always loved the delicious food and excellent service at Shanas, and I will definitely continue to order from them in the future by contacting Shanaz directly. I apologize for any confusion. We arrived at the restaurant without a reservation on a Sunday evening around 8:15, so it was not surprising that it was a bit quiet. The service was friendly, the food was good (though it was evident that the meat had not been marinated in the curry for a sufficient amount of time). Overall, it was good value for the experience.

I had a fantastic dining experience the other night and will definitely recommend this restaurant to others. I will be returning soon.

Really friendly staff but food not good. Mine, a biriani, was the blandest Indian meal I've eaten. My friends didn't enjoy theirs much either. Veggie options limited for two of them. In response to Shanaz, yes I have the right establishment, my veggie pals just were not impressed with the choices or the ingredients, sorry.

Eaten here many times, never been disappointed. On Friday came with friends who'd never been before and they were mighty impressed, expressing that it was no doubt amount the finest in Sussex.
