The Holland Tringham - Lewes

The staff were friendly, the food was good, and there was a good variety to accommodate most dietary restrictions. I enjoyed the cozy cubby holes. However, I think it would be improved if there were sections for adults only and couples, as it was intimidating with a lot of men at nearby tables. The noise level made it difficult to hear my boyfriend. As a woman, I would not feel safe dining here alone. Would I return? Yes, but only with my partner.

Great value for the price and the Ramen was surprisingly delicious. The service was efficient and the food arrived promptly. Being a Wetherspoons, you can expect a certain level of quality.

I stopped by yesterday for coffee and ended up having a light lunch. The restaurant is really spacious, which sets it apart from other Wetherspoon locations in London - it's not as crowded. I visited around 3:00 pm and found that not all the staff mention that there is a disabled toilet on the ground floor. I am 77 years old and have some mobility issues, but I didn't have any trouble with the stairs. The food and service were excellent as always, and I wouldn't have minded staying for a full meal another time. I appreciated that they didn't assume that if you only wanted a snack, it had to be a sweet one!

Well I have been coming into this spoons for years but from my experience yesterday 18th January I doubt il be ordered food ever again the staff said they where short staffed which to me didn’t look it as had plenty of people doing there jobs fine on the other hand the food I ordered came out stone called waiting 45 minutes for two small pizzas then again another hour for the second one they have got a new chef in the last two weeks the food hasn’t been up to scratch sending out prawns warm not piping hot terrible so much food was being sent back it was a joke ever since they have got new management in and new staff to do the food this pub has gone down the pan

A very nice Wetherspoons outlet, very friendly staff and excellent real ale. The food is very good, considering the low cost, Nor Michelin, but nowhere near Michelin prices!
