Dor-day's Sub Shop - Lewisburg

The subs....made well, but horrible flavor. I ordered a philly cheese steak with sauce and mushrooms. Hubby ordered the meatball sub with cheese and sauce. Sauce in any other place is a marinara. They put a sauce on that tasted like a mouthful of ketchup. It was not just a shock, it was horrible. As I said, the subs were made well, but the sauce was a huge mistep. We threw both of them away and will not go back.

Quick service and delicious subs. Deserves to be on a list of historic Lewisburg eateries.

The restaurant is located in an older building, and the food is average. Please note that there is no dine-in option; takeout is the only service available.

It's not extravagant—just a simple, unpretentious spot—but the food is great and the prices are reasonable. I would certainly return; they have a pretty extensive sandwich menu, and there are several other options I would love to try.

In my opinion, this is the worst hoagie shop in the area. If you prefer your sub with more bread and lettuce than actual meat, then this is the place for you. The hoagies were soggy, and the little meat that was there fell out of the bottom, making the sandwich very difficult to eat.
