Absolutely delicious Mr. Endsley!! Will definitely be back!!
You have to seek these places out. Another semi-rural gem, I'm told they've been open for 3 years so I'm not sure why I haven't heard about this spot but I plan to be a regular. OK might as well get this out of the way, that was the best pulled pork I've had in years. Lawler's has been the standard around here forever but they are in completely different leagues, one of the reasons is that this BBQ is not imported from Alabama. Portions are generous and the pork is juicy and smokily delicious. And I've seen a lot of people around here attempt to make Hot Slaw, its a local specialty but few people know how to make it... they nailed it here, must have stolen my aunt's recipe. I never would have thought to get some Banana Pudding to go but I'm glad I did, its as good as my grandma made with the perfect ratio of vanilla wafers to pudding. Next trip will be for ribs and catfish, we may be onto something here. Easy to find this place, its on the Shelbyville Hwy in Farmington, next to Costco. ha ha
Too bad they're only open 2 days a week because this place is special. The pulled pork is in a league all its own, and paired with their hot slaw you're in for a real treat. Polish it all off with their banana pudding that is probably the best I've ever had and you're good for another day. Great prices and friendly and fast service. A real local gem.
