3 stars for the quiche and breakfast casserole but no stars for the chocolate sheet cake. It was not edible. It was very hard which can be caused by freezing or long refrigeration. Threw it away. If a business claims to be a bakery the baked goods should be fresh.
Nice little place in the middle of nowhere. Good coffee and great apple fritters.
We were visiting a friend in the area, saw this wonderful shop and had to stop in. First off it's fabulous inside, warm, cozy, tons of great items on display for sale. I was greeted with a smile and even engaged into conversation with customers. What a delightful experience. I told the woman it was my first time in so she happily told me all about the incredible food and baked goods they offer. We had sausage cheddar pie, breakfast casserole, a vanilla sprinkle glazed donut and a chocolate eclair. Oh my goodness, we were in heaven! Everything was fresh, tender, moist, filled with flavor! I hear their sausage, gravy and biscuits are the best but we were driving with dogs in the car so needed transportable items lol. We're definitely going back to find out if it's true though! What a splendid surprise this place is. Two thumbs up.
Found this place by accident when visiting Nathan Bedford Forrest boyhood home. Great find nice little antique shop with a bakery attached. Go for the German cake. Place is a little pricey in my opinion therefore only 4 stars. While your in the area check out the Pope home and the Confederate museam in Columbia. The final resting place of N.B. Forrest
