Aqua Mediterranean And Grill - Lewisham

Booked for Saturday 7th March after visiting Blackheath for the first time and happened to pass by the restaurant. When we arrived we were shown to a table which was a little cramped for a member of our party. With no hesitation we were shown to another table by the friendly staff. Our waiter Abdoul was an extremely helpful and cheerful guy and nothing was too much trouble. (We had to try several different wines before deciding on one). The food was excellent and plentiful and the atmosphere buzzy without being intrusive. All four of us were very happy with the service, quality of food and wine. 5 stars without question.

I went out for dinner on Friday night with my colleagues from work. The service at this restaurant was outstanding, the best I have had in a long time. The waitstaff were polite, patient, and friendly, and even the chef took the time to chat with us when we ran into him on the stairs. They served us with a smile, and my Amaretto sour cocktail was absolutely delicious. Everyone in our group was impressed with the quality of their meals. Our manager couldn't join us, but he called and paid for prosecco to be delivered to our table, which arrived promptly. The staff struck a perfect balance between being attentive and giving us space to relax and enjoy our meal. I will definitely be coming back to this restaurant.

Took my wife here for Valentine's dinner. Starter of scallops came out cold. Gave her a second plate,this came out with a hair in it. Rack of lamb was chewy. Did give us one drink each on the house. Not happy. Would not go AGAIN.

Went to this restaurant for a family 21 birthday celebration with a party of 11 on a Monday night. The Monday offer was 2 for 1 on steak but on paying this was refused stating that it did not apply to Chateaubriand which 4 of the party had. There had been no mention of this being excluded from the offer. Whilst the meal was good in view of this we will not be returning despite it previously being a favourite.

Nicholas our server was absolutely delightful, very welcoming and talkative. Attentive to all our needs. Honestly such a hard working guy and catered to all of our needs. Honestly such a great guy.
