Baxter Brewing Company - Lewiston

The ambiance of the restaurant is pleasing, and we had no trouble finding parking. However, the reason I will not be returning is due to the prices. Every Saturday, my two friends and I like to explore the bars and restaurants in Lewiston/Auburn. Yesterday, we visited Baxter. I ordered a drink, one friend got a beer, and the other friend chose a drink from the menu which cost $14. At first, this seemed reasonable until the drink arrived in a half-filled martini glass. My drink consisted of two shots and juice, yet I was charged $20.43, which I found outrageous. The bartender seemed hesitant to come back and cash us out, and I believe she should be ashamed for charging that amount and not providing a full drink for the $14 menu drinks. Despite being regular patrons on Saturdays, we have decided not to return to Baxter.

I visited this restaurant for the first time and had an amazing experience! The service was excellent and the atmosphere was relaxed and spacious, making you want to stay for a while. The delicious beer and tasty bar food perfectly complement each other. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great spot to relax and chill.

The burger was fantastic. I ordered it medium rare and it was cooked perfectly. It wasn't overly complicated and the beef was high quality. The chicken sandwich was juicy and extremely crunchy. The fried pickles were a great way to start the meal.

Variety of in house brewed beers. I hard a garden salad that was delicious however the chicken sandwich could have been better. Available both indoor and outdoor sitting areas.

My first visit but i will go back 100%.The dry rub wings are absolutely amazing, as are the Brussel Sprouts. Wing night Wednesday not to be missed.Better beer specials than other breweries.
