El Poncho's Mexican Grill - Lewiston

This is the best Mexican food in L.A.! The dishes are authentic, the portions are generous, and they offer very creative daily specials. The highlight for me is definitely the mesquite chicken burrito bowl!

I visited this restaurant for the first time and tried the tacos. The flavor of the food was absolutely incredible. I would gladly make the 40-minute drive from my home to come back here again and again. Totally worth the trip!

Tried this place for the first time today after hearing lots of good things. I pulled into the parking lot and there were no cars there at almost noon, but they were open. I thought well I am in luck it should be quick service. When I walked in there were orders bagged up on the counter waiting for delivery and the two people working behind the counter were busy. One was making meals and the other was taking an order on the phone. When she was done she took my order, cashed me out, and made my order up in no time. She was even courteous enough to ask if i needed utensils and my soda bottle top opened. It was to bad that I couldn't try more than one dish. I wasnt sure what to try so I asked for a recommendation and it was great. The plate was filled very well, it was quite heavy. Filled me right up. Some excellent food. The staff was extremely quick and friendly. I can hardly wait to go back and try something else.
