The staff is friendly and puts in a lot of effort, but there just aren't enough of them. I experienced a long wait time despite there being empty tables available. The beer selection is good, and the food is decent. With double the number of staff, this place could be fantastic.
Place was clean and the decor was really neat considering the building. The food wasn’t really anything to write home about and the drinks were just okay. Kind of felt like a chain restaurant rather than a craft brewery.
This place was very neat and clean on the inside. The outside was rustic and fit well in this mill town. There was also a beautiful mural on the adjacent buildings wall as you looked through the restaurant windows towards the outside.Tried a few of their beers because I like to support local, but I’m not an ale person. I am more of a sour gal so the beers were not for me. We arrived early and quickly watched the bar and restaurant fill up for taco Tuesday and everybody was getting beer. I saw very few people ordering cocktails.I myself had a classic margarita you can’t mess that up.The spinach and artichoke dip was amazing. The only thing I could say is I wish it was bigger as I was sharing it with a co-worker. The chicken sandwich was not as good as I had hoped it would be. Now it was a very large piece of chicken. It just wasn’t my taste. The sweet potato fries, on the other hand were amazing! And the blueberry cobbler with what I hope we’re fresh made. Blueberries was also pretty delicious. Definitely could’ve used more of a granola topping, but I would get it again. The service was good, not bad at all either. We just had sat for awhile just chatting at the bar. The bartender didn’t rush us just casual check ins which was nice.Only reason not a 5 was the limited menu which I understand as a small establishment is necessary to keep costs low.
$8 for a soft pretzel and $15 for an old fashioned, which is one of the most basic cocktails. The chairs are absolutely **** horrendous and physically painful. There's a very impersonal corporate feel to the place, but not from lack of effort on the part of the staff. If anything the staff are so friendly and polite it seems fake, because nobody is actually that happy at work. The positive stars are only for the effort of the staff and the cool industrial aesthetic of the place. The price, the painful chairs, and the corporate atmosphere were ripping out my soul and throwing it onto the floor and stomping all over it so I left and went to a place (The 1800) where the staff argued with each other and the drinks were also overpriced but the nachos were killer and there was a jukebox.
