We have gotten food catered from Baba Ali 's Kitchen at least 3-4 times this year. Every single time, the food has been consistently amazing: the quality, taste, service, and professionalism. So far, our favorite items have been Chana Chaat, dahi barey, biryani, Nihari, Haleem, malai boti, and chicken 65. And for desserts: gajar ka halwa and kheer have been outstanding! I recently heard that they have also started live BBQ services. Next time, I will have to try that out!
I've been meaning to try this place and it was a delightful surprise. It's so worth a visit. The menu was wonderful and varied. The food was so good. I had Somosas for an appetizer with some nice sauces. The Dhaga entrew was very so tasty. I also had a mango shake and some flavorful Chai tea. The Garlic Naan was really good. It's priced separatly, but a good portion. Altogether, the total without a tip came to a few cents over $30. I left FULL and HAPPY.I wanted to try a few new things the team helped me pick some items out. The team was very nice and very attentive. It felt like I was visiting family.
We wanted some Halwa Puri for breakfast and many people had suggested this place. Its quite far from us but we came anyway their menu offered so many different items that if the Halwa Puri didn't work out, we'd have more options. We were definitely not disappointed. The ambience was casual with lots of fun decor. My favorite was the Punjabi Marilyn Monroe! We ordered Halwa Puri, papdi chaat, Malai Parata, dhaga and seekh kabob. Halwa Puri was fresh and delicious. They only give two small Puris instead of the standard three so you definitely have to get more.Malai Parata was such a treat with some thick fresh cream. Lacha parata and naan were also fresh and tasty. I felt the grill seekh kabob needed some salt and wasn't smoked and dhaga kabob was spiced well but not smoked. Papdi chaat won man-of-match for us. It's literally perfect sweet, tart, creamy and crunchy. They serve in styrofoam plates and plastic takeaway boxes and utensils. I can't help but think about the waste we leave in the environment after we go out for a meal so wanted to just throw that info in there. We enjoyed our meal. Would recommend!
