Helen's Hot Chicken - Lewisville

The service here is very friendly, and the chicken sandwich I had was absolutely delicious. I can understand why this place is always busy. They are clearly practicing social distancing, and everyone is wearing masks. While I was waiting for my food, I observed many customers coming in and out, which gave me high hopes for my meal. The chicken sandwich was cooked just right, and the slightly sweet slaw complemented the spicy chicken beautifully. I will definitely be returning!

It was a good experience overall. I went with the mild option just to be safe, but I felt it had a bit of heat; I think the hot would be a better choice. The fries were great. However, I’m not a fan of whole wings, and that’s how they are served here. I recommend placing your order in advance.

We ordered some chicken sandwiches because we were craving Nashville-style hot chicken, and we were not disappointed. They exceeded our expectations and were extremely satisfying. The chicken patty was juicy and well-seasoned. I usually don’t enjoy coleslaw, but the one included in the sandwiches was surprisingly delicious. If you’re up for it, try the Hella Hot, which is their spiciest option! The mild option is also great if you want to enjoy some warmth without overwhelming heat. The staff was very friendly, and the service was quick. Currently, they offer takeout and delivery through GrubHub.

First time coming here. It took a while but the guy working was by himself, taking order and cooking, and there were a lot of online orders as well- so I understand that. I ordered the sandwich with the hot spice level. The chicken was nice and crunchy on the outside, but juicy on the inside. Coleslaw was good and adds more flavor to the sandwich. I will be back, but next time will get the hella hot spice level because the hot was nothing!

I ordered my meal through Uber Eats. I ordered this at around 3:15 and it showed that 3 different people were picking it up. I finally called them and explained the situation when they told me they gave my order to someone else. I asked to speak to the manager and it sounded like a teenager saying they were the manager but wouldn’t give me a name and never apologized or offered compensation for the actions of having to wait over an hour for my meal. Then I was hung up on when I asked for his name. When I called back 3 different times they wouldn’t pick up the line and when I got my meal it was WRONG!!!! I’ve very very upset with the poor customer service on this restaurant.
