Shipley Do-nuts - Lewisville

I don't know how it is possible to make a disgusting glazed donut, but she did. Everyone in my house agrees with the mixed dozen we got this morning as if something had died in a glass pot. Don't come here.

I've been telling about this place for the last two years and finally went. You were right! This place is excellent. I had an applesitter, my group also had a simple yeast doughnut and a Kolache. Both reported as top animals. Looking for a way to make it back there.

You can't go wrong. But the Kolashi was okay. It's unbelievably big and you think I can only eat one. But it's mostly bread. It is like several bites until you come to the hot dog and then it is over and back to eat only bread. The kolashi is like 5 inches, but the hot dogs are like a Viennese sausage length. Okay, maybe not so small, but tear a inch off or so at both ends and then you get the perfect meat to bread. And they don't have so much cheese and only 2 slices of jalapeño glazed so easily on thr.

There's nothing better than Shipleys! And the service here is great!!!

Normally it would be 5 stars but I asked for old fashioned in the drive through and I got cake donuts. Still great and yummy but not what I ordered.
