Fancy Pastry Shop - Lexington

I highly recommend this bakery. We have ordered custom cakes from them and they are always delicious!

The service at the restaurant was excellent, with a friendly customer service representative and reasonable prices. The pastries were delicious.

I ordered a cake there over the phone and was given a price and a pick up time . When I got there was told it wasn't there . They had to search for my order, finally found it and had to make it then was charged almost double what I was quoted. When Iasked about the price I was told it was a new employee and she was wrong . Not happy at all. Also cake was dry .

Didn?t even acknowledge us and they were all just talking in the back. We asked for help twice and she just said we?re short staffed but yet they all continued to chat in the back instead of coming out to help. First time going and I will definitely notbe back.

I purchased some cupcakes and they were incredibly sweet. It appeared that they had two different types of icing and frosting, resulting in an overload of sugar. They were too sweet for my taste and I ended up giving them away. I remember enjoying something from this place in the past, but it seems like there has been a change in their recipes. Despite this, it is still a decent place to visit.
