The mussels were cooked pretty good and had great taste. The Veal Parmigiana came and had spaghetti on the plate with it. The amount was good but the flavor was a kinda blah, a little bland. Also, the sauce wasn't bad but very greasy and oily. The atmosphere was fine but not much going on in there. I will say my server was Katrina and she did very good! Hope I get her again next time I decided to eat here. Overall it?s good but it?s nothing special. I?ll have to try the pizza!
Maybe we caught them on an off day. I ordered the Caribbean salad and when I asked the server what dressings they had, he told me my salad didn't come with dressing. I asked him to go ask the cook if that was correct, and instead, he went to the POS and came back and said he was right because he didn't have an option to add dressing to that salad. When the salad came out, the grilled chicken had no grill marks and no seasoning. I put salt and pepper all over to give it flavor. Realized the salad was too dry and had to order dressing. Asked what the House dressing was and he said he thought it was Italian or something. Salad was good with the dressing but I realized it was missing avocado. I asked for the avocado and he said they had run out... Honestly, given all this info up front, I would have ordered a Chicken Ceasar salad. Communication is key. My daughter's ravioli looked very plain to me but she liked the sauce. I honestly don't know if I'll give them another try. First impressions tend to stick with you.
This was my first time coming here based on a recommendation from a fellow New Yorker who happens to be Italian like me. Glad I came! I came for lunch and ordered chicken parm, a slice of cheese pizza and a house wine. It was only $18 and some change, I included a picture of the receipt just in case you didnt belive me. For starters the pizza was great! The crust was excellent, the cheese had the right amount of grease for flavour, and a simple non over powering pizza sauce. The chicken parm was crisp on the outside, and tender and juicy inside. The sauce had a fresh garlic flavour and the pasta was cooked al dente. If you are looking for a traditional Italian American cuisine, look no further they have many dishes to try!
Just stumbled across this place. OMG! This is absolutely delicious! I got the Ferrara special pizza. This sausage is amazing! Much better than any of the commercialized pizza stores. If I lived in Lexington it would be the only pizza place I?d order from.
We stopped here for date night dinner. We shared an appetizer of garlic knots. Nicely cooked and plenty of them. I got the Special pizza. Good flavor and a nice mix of ingredients. My wife had the Hawaiian Stromboli. The small is large enough for 2. The only complaint that I have is they need to improve the quality of the tomato sauce. It's too runny and lacking taste. We had excellent service from Megan.
