Went during lunch on a Thursday. Quickly sat and order taken. They gave us a chicken and rice soup as a free appetizer, and it was SO GOOD. we had the enchiladas suizas and enchiladas rancheras for our entrees. Portions are very generous, and we will enjoy the leftovers! We will definitely be back for more soup!! Looking for a great place to get soup this fall? Head to mi pequena hacienda! The best of the best Mexican food in Lexington. Delicious and affordable. The service is super fast and friendly. There are two for one margaritas nights Sunday Tuesday and Thursday. You may even run into an old Backstreet Boy here!! I absolutely love their salsa and Hacienda dip! I still claim this as my favorite Mexican Restaurant in all of Lexington, or even the entire state!

The food is always great! Not sure if it 's a language barrier with the people that work there but every time I have went I always ask how they are, how 's your day and so on. They look at me with a slight smile say Good good..which is OK but they are never friendly, ask if you need a refill or check to see if you like what you ordered. If they worked on that simple little thing called communication skills and customer service they would get better reviews.
