My order took nearly an hour before it was handed off to my dasher. And this was after they brought it out for him to eat instead of boxing it. Before this they told him it would be 15 minutes on pasta, it was more like 25. Im very disappointed. My dasher was great though.
Disappointing experience. I'm not from the area and I'm not sure how long this restaurant has been open, but if you're looking for good Italian food, this is not the place to go. We ordered the blackened shrimp and sausage pasta as well as the Parmesan chicken mac and cheese, along with two Caesar salads. The Caesar salads were basically mayonnaise mixed with romaine lettuce, lacking any discernible Parmesan cheese or anchovy flavor; after just two bites, they went straight in the trash. The Parmesan chicken and their so-called "signature mac 'n cheese" consisted of an uncut chicken breast topped with canned tomato sauce, served over the most watery mac and cheese I've ever encountered. It was like a half cup of milk with two slices of processed cheese melted in. The blackened shrimp pasta was decent, and I can say that the pasta was cooked well—not mushy and not too firm. Unfortunately, everything else fell short of expectations, in my opinion.
The "Caesar salad" consisted of tasteless iceberg lettuce instead of romaine, paired with stale croutons and lacking any dressing. The hoagie was disappointing as well; the cheese was congealed, the bread was soggy, and overall, it just didn’t taste good. The cheesecake arrived with cherries and cherry syrup, but that was not how it was served. While the kids' mac and cheese was somewhat edible for adults, it had a bit of a kick, which might not be a suitable choice for younger children. Additionally, our delivery driver was 20 minutes late, which likely affected the quality of the hoagie, but that doesn’t change its overall taste. DoorDash only refunded $3.89, which I find quite ridiculous.
