Feedback geven26. februar 2022 is the last day for smileys. closes the doors forever. eating and service is really good there. a shame.
My man and I came down and found smileys bbq it was very juicy and quiet, but busy with going ordering the food was amazing and large portions even ordered to take the smoked wow we were so filled we literally enough for three days definitiw their time and money yum
This was delicate bbq tho rather dry. red instinct is not very red. do they have no salt packages? not very friendly here. soon close.
My buddy ate here and he’s dying on the toilet as I type this. It smells like he is passing the back half of a pig that has been sitting on the side of the road for two weeks in 98 degree weather with a heat index of 130 after it was lived in by a family of opossums. The food wasn’t even that great. 30 dollars for a plate of bbq and some hushpuppies. Sauce was okay which is why there’s two stars because you can’t sleep on a good sauce. But the bbq tastes and feels like it was smoked and then frozen two weeks ago. Stay away from here unless you need to fumigate your house. 2/5 stars this place did not make us smile. Unless you count the smiles from the muscle straining from passing this “food.”
Poor customer service. I myself work in the customer service field and have done so for many years. I had a rather large party to feed (10 adults and 1 child to be exact) before I placed my order I called in to ask the number of people their party pack would feed and was told each pound serves about 6 to 8 sandwiches. I told the lady that would be plenty so again I repeated again that I wanted a party pack along with a large box of fries and hushpuppies and a few other small items. I drive 25 minutes back to my house to find that there was an error on the RESTAURANTS end and they had wrote down I ordered a 1 pound special (remind you I specifically told the lady I was feeding about 10 people and she told me it would make 6 to 8 sandwiches) I get back home and there is no where near enough to feed my guest so I call in to see what happened and I was told that I was only charged for a pound special so if I would like for them to get something more started they would but was hinting around to I would not only have to drive 25 minutes back have my guest wait even longer but still have to pay for there mess up and my inconvenience. And this was coming from the owner himself! Eextreamlly POOR customer service! The only thing positive I have to say is the young girl at the register which is the same one I spoke to on the phone when I called to complain was very nice.
