My husband and I visited the restaurant last night and we were underwhelmed by the service, which was not terrible but fell short of our expectations given the low number of customers. The food was decent, but not exceptional. My husband enjoyed his cheeseburger and fries, though he did not care for the slaw. I ordered the brisket sandwich with mango salsa, which I found to be a bit dry and lacking in salsa and aioli. The chips were overcooked and oily, resembling burnt Ruffles. We both thought the sandwich would have been improved by toasting the bread and using smaller rolls, as there was too much bread. I would have appreciated another option besides a salad that doesn't involve bread. The brisket with just salsa and a side dish would have been more satisfying. Unfortunately, we did not have the chance to try any desserts. Despite our experience, we are willing to give the restaurant another try due to its reasonable prices and the use of local ingredients.
I went for the first time Saturday evening. The service and food was spectacular!!! The black'n blue burger was amazing the marinaded meat.
My partner and I have been coming to this restaurant almost every week since it opened. He always orders the same Bacon burger, which he loves, while I like to try something different each time (my favorite is the Chicken Philly). The owners are fantastic and genuinely care about your experience at their restaurant, ensuring you have a full drink, are comfortable, and are knowledgeable about the menu. The service could use a bit of improvement, but that's expected with most new restaurants - some of the servers just need to get more familiar with the menu and environment. I am excited to see the progress of this restaurant in the future!
Went in for the first time over the weekend. Hands down the best casual place currently open and serving in the town limits. Building still in need of a little decoration (inside) and possible dimmed lighting or other atmosphere for evening dining. Food was good. Disappointed to see a staff member from another (now closed) eatery, and found her service again, below par. Questions asked about menu were left unknown as they were unfamiliar with what was even on their menu and what items were included on plates, and it seemed the POS was a bit of a challenge. This may have led to the incorrect order coming to the table. Owners/Managers were accommodating and helpful when staff showed their lack of skills/knowledge. Already working a decent selection of draft and bottled beers along with liquor options as well. Nice to be able to have a drink without going to one of the local shed watering holes. This place seems to have it 's ducks in a row and just straightening out some kinks. Will be returning again after this weeks hard opening.
