Only the problem was that they were out of a few things (e.g. scallops), so the complete menu was not available. 2. Visit (5/6/18) there were some problems. The cheese plate came out with mold on it, and when we asked whether it should be a mold cheese, the waiter said no and immediately took the plate back and replaced it with a fresh one. One of our ducks (Thousand Dollar Chicken) also lacked the asparagus during the same visit. For the price of $18 (now $19) I definitely wanted the asparagus and the waiter to correct the problem again. 3. Visit (6/8/18) I went with a friend and got one of the seasonal dishes, a crab meat pasta. It was so terrible without taste that I really ask how it was made on their menu. However, the waiter insisted that I ordered a new dish so that I ordered the Champagne Fish Chips. I had this court so I knew would be good. Your menu changes seasonal, but some of the popular elements are always there. Here are the articles I have tried on these three visits: {BLT Deviled Eggs} no longer on the menu that is sad because they were so good! {Garlic Black Pepper Calamari} the dough was so light and airy, and they already come GF that is rare for Calamari! (Grillte Guacamole) I'm not sure what I'm expecting from 'bored', maybe grilled slices of avocado, but it's basically just guacamole. Very good guacamole, but the grilled part is misleading... {Champagne Fish Chips} we couldn't believe these GF were, they were soooo good!!! They use rice flour and similar to Calamari, the dough was as light, not heavy as other fried fish. The tartaric acid sauce was also delicious. Thank God they seem to stay on the menu... {4 pork gnocchi} another delicious dish and still on the menu! Cheesy goodness! {Krispy Pecan Brussels Sprouts} if you like Brussels sprouts, order this!!! {Thousand Dollar Chicken} it is the most expensive item on their regular menu, but only comes with the chicken asparagus (no potato, rice, etc.), so the $19 price point seems to me for the portion size, but gosh it 's sooo good that I can hardly stay away... {Shrimp Grits} my friend got this, so I tried a bite and it was wonderful!!! It is on their summer season menu so definitely try it while you can!
Visited for Monday Happy Hour All Day. Great service for our group of 16 people. Tried the pineapple tuna nachos, Squeaky cheese, and bacon brussel sprouts. All were very tasteful, although the portions were a little small for the price. Large list of wines special drinks to choose from. Will definitely return.
Louie's Wine Dive, Liberty Mo. I love the atmosphere. The interior is cozy and open. Nicely decorated. A beautiful selection of wines and cocktails. We have eaten there several times and it was always good. A bit expensive, but a beautiful place. I discovered my affection for Chilean wines and this desert was ahhhhh-mazing! 5 of 5 wine glasses! @louieswinedive #louieswinedive #wine #vino #dineoutkc #kcfoodie #kcfoodiefinds
Amazing atmosphere. Here for lunch. We had a beautiful glass of wine; a great appetizer of cheese, meat and bread; had a main course of chicken sandwich with fries; and topped it with a chocolate dessert to die. Would definitely recommend for date night. There is also a terrace next to the water fountain with tables and fire pits. A great place to gather with friends and taste new wines!
Check the menu for food choices before you go. Meals are ment to share 2-3 played. Little pricey and NOT the place to take kids. Very nice patio seating. Good wine selection.
