When staying at the Palazzo di Luca, we spent quite a bit of time at C. Always friendly and open (literally) The proprietor and his staff sees opportunity more than obstacles. The food is straight up basic inexpensive Italian. Not fantastic for festive dinners, but It'll for sure do at any other opp.

We came here for the second time on a very busy day. Even thought we had to wait a little bit the wait was the food more than worthwhile. Well prepared and for Dutch/English standards very cheap.

We have visited this restaurant several times and have always enjoyed the experience. Has not got great kerbside appeal, and the restaurant is hidden behind the bar. The lunch choice for 10 Euros including wine and coffee can not be beaten. The portions tend to be large and always expertly cooked, nothing fancy but Italian rural cuisine at its best.

We stayed in Tavernelle for a week and used this bar/restaurant most days. At the weekends pizza is available and they are good! During the week 'mama ' does the cooking and it is good and honest and inexpensive fare. Worth a visit or two!

We have used this bar a lot when staying in the Palazzo del duco . It always seems to be open. There is a separate dining area to the rear of the bar and additional dining in a conservatory . The menu has lots of typical rustic Italian meals and the portions are very generous. The prices are reasonable. The food is always good. If you have room try one of the torte for dessert.; they are excellent, especially the apricot one. I have often observed locals come in just for this alone. The bar area is large with the TV often on the sports channel. Seating is available outside. They do a good aperol spritz. Wine list has some good Italian offerings at good prices the wine by the glass is quite rustic. Staff are friendly and helpful. Great place to hang out. Try out your Italian if you can it 's helpful. There are also rooms available. We stayed in one a couple of years ago quite traditional and again a very reasonable price for a family room. There is the opportunity for breakfast but the selection is quite limited. Coffee is good! Free parking available.
