The Village Balti Takeaway - Lichfield

I have this for a few weeks now after it was recommended to me by a friend, but while it is cheaper than its next competitive it is not consistent, had nice eating, but then bland. the last two days they've made. to make my order wrong! nothing said last week because it happened, but again this week was too much. I called to express my disappointment and while there was an apology to begin I found myself cut off! I doubt that I will reassure myself as there are some who choose in the opposite, but that was the closest (except the three doors away).

We had our first visit to Balti Village last night and we were extremely impressed! Even though this curry house is located on the main road, we had never tried it before. We ordered an onion bhaji starter and a mixed grill starter, both of which were very fresh and came with salad and various delicious sauces. For our main course, we ordered a lamb and mushroom bhuna (which was very authentic) and a Balti chicken chili garlic dish (divine and new to us). Our meal came with mushroom and coriander fried rice, spicy fries, and naan bread. The spicy fries were very spicy but still delicious. My only complaint was that I ordered a cheese and garlic naan and received a plain one instead. Overall, it was a highly recommended takeout curry and we will definitely be returning in the future.

Last night we had one of the most beautiful Indian dishes we ever had. the ordered food was delicious, very fresh, tasty and plentiful. the meals were given within the minute time and the price was worthy of the food delivered....They were professional and friendly. a fantastic takeaway highly recommended! great service! will return definately. Thank you.

The beef korma dish was undercooked and raw. When I asked for a refund, the delivery driver had trouble finding my house and suggested I should have provided written instructions. I told him that all I needed was the food and gave him my contact number for any issues. However, he refused to give me the food until he finished blaming and harassing me. I am honestly shocked by everything that happened. The photos of the raw food are proof. I strongly advise avoiding this restaurant at all costs. It is unacceptable to serve food in such a dangerous manner.

The food at this restaurant is fantastic, with delicious flavors and reasonable prices. It is our go-to spot for Indian takeout in the area. The staff are very attentive to detail, and they also offer delivery services.
