Great visit for Mothers Day,food was of a high standard and plenty of veg and trimmings available with the Sunday roast.A traditional pub where space is tight but comfortable at the same time. Cosy log fire.

Wow! We pre ordered our main meal which was venison Wellington. It was a very generous portion accompanied by plentiful vegetables and the best dauphinois potatoes I have ever had! Outstanding quality for money. Thank you Mark Bev. Just delicious.

We have been here countless times and will never stop coming! Amazing food, fresh, hot, plentiful and beautifully presented. Never fails to be a wonderful meal and the waiting staff are friendly and welcoming every time.

Home cooked food, tastes absolutely beautiful. Portions are generous, and can’t talk highly enough of the effort they make to produce a beautiful, tasty meal. Tops all restaurants for Sunday dinner, excited to enjoy an evening meal there one evening.

I must say, it consistently exceeds our expectations and offers great value for the high quality food. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, with a homey feel that we truly enjoy. Despite its small size and quaint charm, we believe it is perfect in every way!
