Kitzalm - Lifthotel

What a wonderful spot. It is at the bottom of the ski run that is a wonderful restaurant with fantastic atmosphere and gives a truly authentic Austrian feel and experience. Often the best menu items are there specials that you need to ask about. A truly wonderful experience where nearly everything is above expectations…

Rating only average for the cozy hut with a fireplace, but poor for the rest. Went at different occasions, had food (Gröstl) that looked and tasted at least one day old except for the egg on top and the garnish. Some staff seem to have a grip on their job, others absolutely not. Waiters definitely could do with some grooming and showers.

Very busy restaurant next to kid playground and ski field it can get really really busy ! Restaurant are serving traditional austrian food and some Bavarian food. Staff were very friendly and quick.

Excellent food and service, typical and comfortable dining room, with bar and terase. try to come early cos very crowdy at apre ski time.

As for "on the slope" restaurant we were surprized with thing like Saint Jacques mussels, fresh sea brass and very good duck. Acceptable wine list. Food (mussels and fish) were little bit on salty and spicey side, but in general 4,5 note.
