Smeraldo - LIGNANO SABBIADORO

It was the second time that we went there and we are amazed at the quality of food and prices. this restaurant is self-service, but it is very clean and in the minute they leave the table, someone comes and cleanses it. the first time we had lasagna and another type of pasta, the second time we have pizzas. pizzas are huuuge! I think they are 40cm diameter! and they cost between 7-10euros. amazing! I can't expect to go back to lignano so I can have my dinner there!

Very good food for this reasonable price! near the beach, near the main street. if they have starved, that is their main place!

Have been to Lignano nearly every year since 1970 so have seen some big changes in the restaurant scene. Smeraldo's has been a regular haunt of ours for nearly 25 years as it offers a wide selection good quality food at very reasonable prices. Great...for the kids as there is always recognisable food on the extensive menu. Family run business who are very friendly and go out of their way to make you feel welcome.. I do miss Mickey the little highland terrier though.

This is a self-service restaurant, near the beach. there is a large selection of foods and drinks, from fruits to pastas, from pizzas to salads, from cakes to crèmes. the food is all ready, except pizzas that only 5-10 minutes! the employees are...friendly, the place is also comfortable with children. I recommend it totally!

If they are looking for a hidden place in italia, where they can find the best spaghetti bolognese in the world, they come here because this is the place.
