The Road Toad - Ligonier

The best food in western PA. The atmosphere is very cozy. The server's are extremely nice!

Over the last few years, the Road Toad has gone from our favorite place to eat, to the last place we want to eat. Prices gone through the roof and the food has gone way downhill. We won't be back,

I would give this place 3.5 stars if I could, but for the sake of fairness, I'll go with the four... A very nicely decorated place located at a very picturesque location, we ate here on what started as a quite Special bday evening dinner that turned out to be quite a busy night by the time we left. The menu is varied across the board, not your normal fare, which is good in my book. For an appetizer we had their pretzel lobster roll. For the dinners, my wife had a seafood medley that included large scallops, whereas I had their half pound rack of ribs all of it superbly delicious. The only complaint, light as it may be, was the service. It wasn't as attentive as I prefer, but after long enough waits, we did get taken care of. It was simply slow. Anyway, a nice little place with great food, I'm sure has better days ahead of it.

Love this place... I was told that kid from Pop's is now here. GOOD job if you snagged him up! That kid can make a mean burger Bubba burger love ya man I hope it is true

I never write reviews, but this place was awesome. Colleen at the front was so nice to our daughter who decided she wanted to sit at the bar, lol. Then Ashley the bartender was literally unbelievable. She has a three year old and it shows. I have literally never had such a nice meal with my three year old daughter and I'm certain it's because she was absolutely enchanted by Ashley. Thanks so much!
